Description
The Ashland Public Library in Ashland, MA was built in 1904 using funds donated by Andrew Carnegie. The cannon in front of the library is a model 1861 Rodman gun. It was cast at the foundry of Seyfert, McManus & Co. of Reading Pennsylvania in 1865. The library has undergone additions and renovations, but still retains the look and feel of the original.
