On January 15. 1919, a vat containing over two million gallons of molasses collapsed spewing molasses down the streets of the North End of Boston, Massachusetts. This image is dedicated to the twenty-one people who died, to the one hundred and fifty who were injured, to their families, and to those who responded to the event.
