If you go downtown on a misty morning, look south, and squint your eyes just a wee bit, you might be able to see through the veil of time, back to the 1870s. The train in the back is almost ready to leave the station for Hopkinton. The folks on the platform are waiting for a Boston & Maine train to take them in town to Boston. One fellow has a bag packed. Perhaps his travels will take him further.
