In July of 1999, the Bell Atlantic Junior Luge Series came to Ashland, Massachusetts to provide children from 10 to 14 with Olympic aspirations, the opportunity to train with the coaches and members of the United States Luge Team. The trials were held on the Holliston Hill portion of Main Street.
