Artist's Description
We all love our new car, even if it is only new to us. There is a bit of pride that we can't help. We want to shout, "Hey, look at me in my new car". Vanity? Yes, but shared by so many that it is almost acceptable. We know that in a week or two, we will have door dings. We know that our car in the parking lot will be just one among many, but today, today is a day to show off. Perhaps this image will explain why this emotion is so instilled in us. This image is when a car was not just a new car, but a new and rare site.
